MUSIC DOCUMENTARY (vIBRANT VOICES - SCOTLAND'S MUSIC SCENE)

Directed, edited and produced by us this film is a raw and captivating feature that offers a glimpse into the diverse stories and roles within Scotland’s music scene. The film provides a snapshot of the passion, challenges, and camaraderie that define the industry.

With engaging behind-the-scenes glimpses, viewers gain insight into the creative process and the community that supports it.

Filming began in June 2023 and was released in May 2024

‘Vibrant Voices – Scotland’s Music Scene’ was hailed as a landmark piece and was covered by numerous publications, newspapers & social media channels.

cinematic drone footage - glasgow

During the Summer of 2024 I created a short cinematic video using drone footage from different areas around Glasgow.

It was a fun experience filming the clips and combining them to create a coherent video that shows Glasgow at its best.

I received a lot of great feedback from the footage and it praised on social media platforms. 

NICARAGUA - CINEMATIC HIGHLIGHTS

In December of 2023 I travelled from Scotland to the beautiful country of Nicaragua and created a showreel.

with the country being so diverse I really wanted to show Nicaragua In a variety of different places and in the three weeks I spent here I  made that a priority when filming.

The response I was given for this footage from the locals of Nicaragua was overwhelmingly positive and also thankful that I could capture Nicaragua in such a positive light.

Wedding Video Gareth & Teri

We captured a spectacular wedding with Gareth & Teri. starting in Glasgow for the ceremony and additionally The Vu in Bathgate for their reception. 

We had a special time capturing what was most important to them. Moments such as the ceremony, the bride walking down the isle, the cutting of the cake, the carefully thought decorations placed for the big day, the first dance and many other important details were key for them.

We edited their video into a format they were very satisfied with and additionally  included what was important to them. As a result they were delighted with the final product.

Showreel 2022/23

This is a compilation/showreel of all of the music events we captured throughout the year and also includes some of our highlights from these occasions.

We filmed in many venues such as Oran Mor,  SWG3, King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, The Albany in greenock and many more.

Each venue had different challenges we tackled such as working with different lighting, communication with different artists and also staff which we thoroughly enjoyed.  

With each event we loved pushing the boundaries of what was possible and altogether our clients were very pleased with our services.

Gender Reveal Xavier & Greicy

Next in our showreel we have Xavier & Greicy’s gender reveal. They wanted a warm, cinematic video of their baby’s reveal announcement, 

Through careful planning we arranged the filming to be a fly on the wall for a memorable day. We wanted to capture authentic and genuine reactions. it was important for one of the most exciting moments of their life.

We filmed this in their cosy flat in Glasgow and blended in with the celebrations of the day.

They were so happy to see the final product and thanked us for being there to capture such an important day

Official Music Video Stewart Bryden

We were contacted in regards to filming performance shots. This was based in a rehearsal room in empire studios in Glasgow.

we were sent the track and we discussed a plan of action to make the video the client intended.

after the shooting concluded we kept in regular contact to discuss ideas for editing and methods we could use that would satisfy Stewart.

Stewart was very thankful and appreciative of our final product afterwards he shortly released the video publicly.

Scottish Hospitality Showcase Personal Highlights

Tasked with working with another experienced videographer to film official promotional footage for the ScotHot Showcase.

in coordination with the team we decided on shots we could use separately  to get the most out of the day and have a variety of different angles for the editing process. 

The organiser was delighted with the final result of the edit.

We had a fantastic time helping and we enjoyed it so much we decided to make our own edit covering some of our favourite interactions with the fantastic businesses present.

Event Promotion & Highlights SWG3

We were briefed to film highlights from an event at a busy SWG3 on the 25th of February 2023.

Some of the footage involved interview pieces, behind the scenes footage of event preparation and a highlight reel from some of the best moments from the night.

The event was successful and the promoter really appreciated the work I did in converting that success through my promotional material.

Fog Bandits Interview

I was given a brief by music promoter B12 Entertainment to produce a quick fire questions interview for an upcoming show at St Lukes on the 31st of March 2023.

I had been given a shot list to acquire and questions to asked the band and this process was delivered successfully.

We regularly checked in with B12 Entertainent to ensure the vision for the video was maintained.

B12 had high praise for the finished video and would use it for there main promotional footage in the run up to the show.

Corporate Watch Collection Showcase

For this our client contacted us stating they wanted to film a collection of their vintage watches. this was to ramp up interest of their collection.

Knowing how delicate these brands can be we carefully came up with a plan of action. this was by showcasing these watches in the best manner possible.

we filmed the videos at the clients house and paid a close attention to details when editing angles of the watches such as there bezel, case, crown, crystal, dial and band.

our client was very impressed with the final product of the video.

Joinery Promotional Video

Tasked with helping out a business show there expertise we came along to film the business in action.

We went over a brief beforehand discussing exactly what was needed to show to the target audience.

we exchanged ideas through the filming process and had a very healthy relationship through the process.
